Here are some guidelines to follow to help avoid scams or fraud:
- To avoid any problems, you may want to buy & sell merchandise with people you can meet in person. You may also want to avoid deals involving shipping. This will help you avoid almost all potential scam attempts.
- It is suggested that you not wire funds to the seller, as some people who ask you to do so may be scammers
- Hood Sports is not involved in any transactions, does not handle payments, guarantee transactions, provide escrow services, or offer "buyer protection" or "seller certification"
- Fake money orders and cashier checks are not uncommon. Banks will often cash them and hold you responsible once they discover it is counterfeit.
- Never give you your bank account number, social security number, eBay/PayPal info, etc
